What to Expect
Who is Stonegate partnering with on this Mission?
This team will primarily be partnering with Stonegate supported missionaries, Diego and Gladys Campelo.
Diego and Gladys serve at a local cultural center, Centro Cultural Luz in Málaga, Spain to help refugees and unreached people groups seeking to enter Europe through Spain. In 2017, God called the Campelo family to Spain to engage in the integral care of missionaries, church planters/planting, mobilization of the local church, and to work among the growing Muslim refugee population. Through the cultural center, Diego serves as a Spanish teacher and Chaplain, while Gladys serves as the Center Coordinator. Centro Cultural Luz holds language classes, worship services, local outreach projects, evangelism, and more.
As a member of this team, you will be task to come alongside ministry leaders in Madrid and the Campelo's in Málaga as they host community outreaches, practice street evangelism, facilitate youth and sports activities, support local church planting efforts, and more.
